WHAT ARE PANTONE COLOR PICKS THIS YEAR - 2017
What are 2017 Pantone Color Picks? Wouldn’t you love to sprinkle, splash, or saturate an area of your space with these designer colors? These are all beautiful colors with new ear tickling names. But are 2017 Pantone Color Picks really NEW ? Many of the colors that are honored may trend from year to year and are similar to their predecessors. In many cases the colors are so close that most people will not be able to tell the difference within a space.
Shop your home first before hitting the stores. You may be surprised by the number of items that you already own in these spectacular shades that you can pay homage to the “new and trendy.”
The easiest way to infuse the latest color trends into your decor is with all things accents and accessories.
Cushions, drapes, curtains, pottery, flowers, artwork, dishes, glassware, linens, bedding, and the list goes on.
Accessories are an easy change… upholstered furniture and walls not so easy. A great strategy is to incorporate large items and/or a multitude of smaller items sprinkled with in the space. Choose items that are saturated in your chosen hue and place them strategically with your spaces to make a statement.
If you are loving one of this years colors but fear you may tire of it quickly, interjects a few pieces into your space and sit with it for a time before going all in and redesigning your entire space in Greenery, Pink Yarrow, or Primrose Yellow.
